David is a proud native
Houstonian. He studied accounting at the University of
Texas and was a member of
the 1974 University of Texas SWC Championship
basketball team where he
received rave acclaim for his bench warming abilities.
With a 30+ year background
in the securities industry, David brings a unique
perspective and problem
solving ability to Deitra Robertson Real Estate Inc. In
addition to being
nationally published on various financial and real estate
topics,
David has also been a
speaker on a variety of subjects to organizations such as
The National Business
Leadership Conference, Texas Association of Realtors,
The Realtors Land
Institute and other financial and legal groups.
David’s expertise lies
in helping realtors and their clients overcome obstacles in
completing a successful
1031 exchange. David’s creativity has saved millions of
dollars of real estate
exchanges from capital gains taxes and has given real
estate owners the
opportunity to find the replacement property that they truly
desire.
David has been a long time
volunteer to a number of organizations. He was
recognized as one of the
top volunteers in the country for Junior Achievement for
his work with educating
minority students and his dedication to JA. He has also
been a participant,
volunteer and corporate sponsor of American Cancer
Society’s Relay for Life
activities. His one man “Team Fish” was always one of
the Relay’s favorite and
inspiring teams.
David is a member of
various real estate organizations including the National
Association of Realtors,
the Colorado and Texas Associations of Realtors and
The Realtors Land
