KATE GIBSON’S BIO

 Kate Gibson is a native Houstonian. She is a life-long equestrian with more than 30 years of riding and competing nationally with Hunters and Jumpers. For the past 18 years Kate has managed Shadyside Farms, her successful 60-acre horse training and breeding operation based in Magnolia, Texas. 

Kate graduated from St. John’s High School. After receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Virginia in Architectural History, Kate worked at Sotheby’s in London before returning to Texas. She worked for a commercial art buying company for 2 years before assembling and creating Shadyside Farm. Kate has been active buying and selling real property in Harris, Montgomery and Waller Counties for almost 20 years.

Kate is married to Steve Gibson and they have 3 children.
